Doctorate at match
After completing your studies in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Engineering and Business Administration (or similar), you will have the opportunity to do a doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. You will be employed as a research assistant at one of the faculty's institutes as a civil employee. Generally, this is a full-time position with pay according to TV-L, pay group 13. At the match, you can work in depth on our key areas. During their doctorate, doctoral candidates provide evidence of independent scientific work. By writing a dissertation and a subsequent doctoral examination, you can obtain the degree of PhD engineer.
