Dr.-Ing. Torge Kolditz from the Institute of Assembly Technology and Industrial Robotics was one of three researchers to be awarded the Dr Jürgen Ulderup Prize for outstanding performance in his PhD. His dissertation focussed on the development of methods to increase the flexibility and robustness of an aerodynamic feeding system for automated assembly. This work makes an important contribution to increasing efficiency in industrial production.
