With this step, CIRP is honouring both Prof. Raatz's intensive and successful research in production technology and her contribution to CIRP topics and conferences. For example, she has been a member of the scientific committee of the Conference of Assembly Technology and Systems (CATS) for many years and regularly publishes her own articles in the CIRP Annals. Prof Raatz follows Prof Denkena (IFW) and Prof Overmeyer (ITA) from the PZH, who are already members of the CIRP.
